Brentwood Country Club: The Smokehouse Room- Brentwood, Tennessee

The renovation of the summer kitchen in the original 1847 Midway mansion created a new luxury private dining room for Brentwood Country Club. As work commenced and more layers of the old building were exposed, the design team and ownership embraced the opportunity to celebrate the original architecture by highlighting the brick walls, fireplace, and wood structure.
New elements were utilized with a light touch: accent lighting combined with a muted, but rustic color palette in order to accentuate the historic elements. The outcome is an exclusive and unique dining experience within the club where amenities like a wine cooler and display monitor reside appropriately within the historic context.
